Absolutely lovely Children's Chairs completely updated and restored. The frames has been cleaned and waxed with Annie Sloan clear wax. The seats have been hand woven in 100% felted merino wool. Both adorable and durable.

In my search for a keep-sake chair for my children, I came across several antique chairs that had the old rush seating. Most needed a lot of TLC, but it was worth the effort. Mine all have chairs that are unique to them and will stand the test of time, just like the chair I still have from my childhood. In the day of plastic, plastic and mass produced, these little creations buck the trend. They are as individual as the child they are meant to be with!

A little bit about the felted merino wool: It is the super strong sister of the very soft merino wool that is all the rage in arm knitting/extreme knitting. It is so strong my two eldest have had a tug o' war with the yarn and it didn't budge. It is amazing to work with, hence weaving this little chair and several other hybrid projects that incorporate my love of yarn with my upholstery work.

Dimensions of the Light Grey and Lavender are 23" from floor to top of the back, the seat is 13" from the floor and the seat is 12" sq

Both the Dusty Pink and Pink Chairs are 11" (28cm) in height from the ground. The seats are 11.5" (29cm) square and total height from ground to top of the back rail is 21" (53cm)
